A Taste of Taste Of Suwanee

Many people enjoy the varied fare at Town Center Park.

Suwanee Patch has confirmed that there indeed was food at the Taste Of Suwanee last Saturday. Also, it can be reported that many people didn't care.

For North Gwinnett student Morgan Friend, it was a chance to volunteer in the kids' play area. And a broken foot could not keep her away.

Friend and fellow North student Loren Coleman were on hand Saturday at Town Center Park along with many other people for the annual festival that emphasized food, entertainment and commerce.

Stage performers included the Gwinnett School of Music and Suwanee Academy of the Arts.

For Stacey and Jimmy Simpson of Suwanee, it was their first Taste Of Suwanee. But they were not new to Wilkes Meat Market when they saw their pavilion. They are regular shoppers -- "best meat I've found," said Jimmy Simpson.

Merchandisers included Stella & Dot Jewelry and Mobile Masterpieces, typical of the arts flair that characterizes many Suwanee events.

Just found that "Get Official Samples" is promoting a wide variety of major brands by providing free samples. You’ll have to fill in your zip code to see if you can qualify to receive them. You can get all samples from one place. I think it is available for most of the zip codes and it worked for me.

The North Gwinnett High School Basketball Booster Club did a fantastic job putting on the Taste of Suwanee as a fundraiser for the Basketball program. Thanks to all of the players and parents who planned and ran the entire event! Special thanks to Suzee Northrup who ran the event for the second year in a row!
