A key Suwanee intersection will get another retail store Thursday (Oct. 18), when Advance Auto Parts opens a new store.

According to a company news release, Advance Auto Parts chose the location -- at Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road and Satellite Boulevard -- because of convenience, and because it's near popular auto-repair garages. The street address is 3379 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road.

“This new store’s 15 team members will delight our customers with dependable and fast service every job, every day,” said Steve Sterling, district leader for Advance Auto Parts. “The right parts at the right price are as important as the right advice to finish the job.”

Paul Marranca will be the general manager of the new facility.

Earlier this year, QuikTrip opened nearby, and Walmart is across Satellite Boulevard.

The store will offer a range of parts and recognized national brands, as well as some free services. Store employees will install windshield wipers for free and install batteries following a complimentary check of the vehicle’s electrical system and old battery, the news release said.

There also will be parts delivery to local commercial customers.

As a tribute to Suwanee's local flavor, the store has purchased and put on public display one of the original Suwanee SculpTour pieces, Amne. (See one of the attached photos.)
