Another New Restaurant Possible for Suwanee
A Mexican eatery could open soon near I-85. Share your thoughts.
The Suwanee dining scene soon could get yet another addition, as a Mexican restaurant plans to open in a shopping plaza near I-85.
Senor Quintin Mex Grill plans to open shop at 2855 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road, and it has applied for an alcoholic beverage license with the city. The license could be approved at Tuesday's City Council meeting at City Hall. According to the Facebook site, the restaurant plans to open in January 2013.
The eatery plans to open in the site now occupied by Shroomers, which is closing. This is the same Horizon Village shopping plaza that houses the Movie Tavern.
In 2012, restaurants opening in Suwanee include Hammerhead's, Gulf Coast Grill, Twisted Taco and Tilted Kilt. And the area's top fine dining/entertainment establishment, Moondance Restaurant & Lounge, recently celebrated its one-year anniversary.
Other Mexican restaurants in Suwanee include Monterrey, Frontera, Cheeky and Cinco.
