Asian Pacific Event at Suwanee Library

The heritage event is scheduled for Sunday.

 

    The Suwanee Branch of the Gwinnett Public Library will host an Asian Pacific Heritage event on Sunday, 2-4 p.m., according to the library system website.

    The event is being held to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Heritage Month. It is billed as "Stories about Love, Family & Identity by Asian Pacific Americans in the South."

    Visitors will be able to:

    • Listen to recordings of Asian Pacific American stories
    • Learn how to preserve your Asian Pacific American family stories, photos and documents
    • Learn about the Asian Pacific American Historical Society and how you can get involved
    • Celebrate the 20th anniversary of APA Heritage Month.
