Gulf Coast Grill Now Open in Suwanee

Suwanee gets another addition to its restaurant scene.

Suwanee now has another new face on the dining scene: Gulf Coast Grill.

The new restaurant received its alcoholic beverage license approval in August from Suwanee City Council. But it experienced some snags that delayed its opening. The doors went open this week.

"We had dinner at Gulf Coast tonite...really awesome food! Just like at the beach!!! This will soon be your favorite place for seafood!!", one person posted on the restaurant's Facebook page Thursday (Sept. 28);

Amy Elizabeth Fitzpatrick is the licensee and owner. "Great first night. Thank you all for the support," read the Gulf Coast Grill Facebook posting.

Gulf Coast Grill is located at 3463 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road, in the former American Ale House building.

In 2012, Suwanee has seen the arrival of such restaurants as Tilted Kilt, Twisted Taco, and Hammerhead's. Also in the pipeline is Suwanee Pizza Tavern on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard.
