The Gwinnett Braves head into the International League All Star break tied for third in the South Division after an 11-9 victory Sunday over Durham at Coolray Field.
The G-Braves (43-49) have recovered somewhat after ending a record 15-game losing streak earlier in July.
First baseman Ernesto Mejia (.302, 17 HR) and pitcher Cory Gearrin (1.25 ERA) will represent Gwinnett in the AAA All Star game on Wednesday in Buffalo, N.Y. The IL Stars will take on All Stars from the Pacific Coast League.
On Sunday, Luis Durango led the way for Gwinnett with a 3-for-4 game and two RBIs. Ruben Gotay (2-for-5, HR, 3 RBIs) and Tyler Pastornicky (2-for-3, HR, 2 RBIs) added multi-hit, multi-RBI games.
