Local audiences may recognize some familiar suburban Atlanta places in "Parental Guidance," opening Christmas Day 2012 and starring Billy Crystal, Bette Midler and Marisa Tomei.
Filmed in the Atlanta area, crews converged on Johns Creek's Ocee Park around Halloween last year for some pivotal Little League baseball scenes.
Casting directors didn't have to look far for baseball players – they used members from the Ocee Athletic Association teams as extras.
A member of the Georgia Production Partnership, the city regularly supplies photos showing various facilities and attractions.
The movie was also shot in Alpharetta, Roswell and various other places in the metro area.

Regal Entertainment Group Acquires Great Escape Theatres -- Dacula Patch
The Hamilton Mill Great Escape Theatre in Dacula is now Regal Hamilton Mill Stadium 14.
Regal Entertainment Group completed the acquisition of Great Escape Theatres in late November. The acquisition included 25 theaters with a total of 301 screens.
Regal Entertainment Group also operates the Regal Mall of Georgia Stadium 20 and IMAX in Buford.
