NEWS NEARBY: Purses Reported Stolen During Church Group Outing in Gwinnett
News from Patch sites in the area.
A December church group outing to Golden Corral in Buford ended on an unpleasant note after two of the church group members discovered their purses had been stolen out of a locked vehicle.
According to the police report, the women left their purses in the locked car on the floor behind the driver's seat. When they returned to the vehicle approximately two hours later, the purses were gone.
The officer noted a small puncture mark was present under the door handle of the driver's side door, but discovered nothing of evidenciary value at the scene.
One of the women advised that she immediately contacted her bank and learned that someone had attempted to use her stolen debit card at businsses in Dacula.

I'm sorry, but why are women leaving their purses in their cars ANYWHERE? That's just an invitation for criminals.
