North Gwinnett Falls to No. 7 in AAAAAA

Norcross moves up, Grayson out of Top 10 in latest poll.

 

North Gwinnett's loss to Norcross on Friday in Suwanee cost the Bulldogs a few notches in the latest AAAAAA rankings.

The Bulldogs (2-1, 0-1) now are No. 7 in the latest Top 10 ranking by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Region 7-AAAAAA rival Norcross (3-0, 1-0) took a 31-21 victory, and moved to No. 3.

Grayson, the previous state No. 1, disappeared from the rankings after a loss to Parkview. The Panthers moved into the No. 10 spot with the 22-7 win.

That means Norcross now has beaten two Top 10 teams -- North Gwinnett and Parkview.

This Friday (Sept. 21), North is at Meadowcreek, Peachtree Ridge hosts Mill Creek and Collins Hill hosts Mountain View.
