There were some new faces at the Suwanee Day 2012 parade Saturday. Leighton Jordan, the new Miss Georgia, was one of the grand marshals.

There were the mainstays. Parker, the city's canine mascot, was on hand again. (Pssst. For the second straight year, Paige Brinson, daughter of Economic Developer Denise Brinson, wore the outfit.).

And there was a typically edgy touch to the parade. At the end, dancers broke into a break dance on Buford Highway and then led the way into Town Center Park for a large flash mob.
