Suwanee Council To Set 2012 Millage Rate
A public hearing also will be held before Tuesday's City Council meeting.
The Suwanee City Council plans to set the 2012 millage rate at the Tuesday (Aug. 28) City Council meeting, set for 6:30 p.m. at City Hall. A public hearing on the millage rate will be held before the meeting.
The rate is planned for 4.93, which would be a cut from the 2011 rate of 5.65. It is the third straight year that Suwanee has lowered its key rate, which is used to determine property taxes.
Also on the council agenda are applications for alcoholic beverage licenses from two proposed restaurants: Gulf Coast Grill and Suwanee Pizza Tavern.
