And now, for the latest gas price swing in Suwanee. It is rising again, which is no surprise to some motorists locally.

A check on Thursday (Aug. 9, 2012) on georgiagasprices.com shows that the lowest reported price in the 30024 ZIP code is $3.55, at several locations.

It was just in June that prices were below $3.20 a gallon in Suwanee, with the slow economy supposedly to blame for the drop.

Nationally, the situation is even worse. AAA.com reports that the national average is $3.66, which is up from $3.53 a week ago.
