Want to take a different type of tour of Suwanee's downtown art exhibit? Yes, there's an app for that.
City officials have announced that a podcast of SculpTour, the outdoor display that launched last May, is available for free on iTunes. Search "Suwanee' or "Suwanee SculpTour," according to city officials.
The digital guide was made possible by a grant from the Gwinnett Convention and Visitors Bureau; Suwanee applied for the grant in September.
SculpTour consists of 15 outdoor exhibits; the city is paying the artists a stipend. Online voting is in progress, and the "people's choice" winner will be purchased by the city for permanent display. The overall exhibit ends in March.
More than 6,000 people have voted so far, according to city spokesperson Lynne DeWilde.
