Are You Ready For School?

The signs are everywhere, in Target, Walmart, and everywhere else. School supplies are filling the aisles, and sales dominate the Sunday paper.

Although it seems to have just started, summer break is indeed near its end. With public school students in Suwanee starting back on Aug. 8, the countdown of the last two weeks has begun.

Many parents have the plan of attack laid out. Summer reading books have already been tackled and school clothes bought while on sale last season. Others enjoy the rush of fighting for the best deals a few days, or even hours, in advance.

What do you have planned for the next two weeks? Are you prepared for your kids to go back to school? Will you be scrambling the weekend prior to ensure that your child goes to school well stocked? Have you been picking up little things here and there? What school item is not on your list but you know your child could not live without?
