Elderly Dog in Gwinnett Needs Rescue After Being Dumped

An ailing German shepherd is in urgent need of a home for his remaining days.

A Gwinnett animal shelter is holding an elderly German Shepherd after he was dumped by his owners, but his time there is running out.

"Poor fellow just needs a soft bed and a loving home to live out his remaining time," said a message from Gwinnett Animal Control, adding that the dog's "stray hold" is running out.
