Benefit for Tripp Halstead Planned for Coolray Field
The Gwinnett Braves will hold a 5k and "Tripp Halstead Night" to raise money for the toddler injured in Barrow County last year.
The Gwinnett Braves announced Monday that they will hold a 5-k run to raise funds for when a tree limb hit him in the head during Hurricane Sandy last fall.
The race called "Tripp's Trot" will take place Saturday, June 22, at 8 a.m. at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville. Registration is $25 before May 22 and increases to $35 the day of the event.
There will also be a Fun Run. Registration for that is $20.

The support will continue that day with "Tripp Halstead Night" at the G-Braves game against the Syracuse Chiefs. A portion of funds raised from the concession stands and a Tennis Toss after the game will go to the Halstead family.
