Holiday Spotlight: Gwinnett Children's Shelter

The holidays are a good time to remember local charities that may need your help. Today we spotlight the Gwinnett Children's Shelter.

This charity assists children throughout Gwinnett County and other areas of of northeast Georgia.

Located in Buford, the children's shelter runs every day and serves more than 150 youth annually. Females ages 12 to 18 and males ages 12 to 21 can receive help here. 

Services include: runaway and homeless youth, guardian placement, children in protective custody and a transitional living program for young men.

Family counseling, parent classes, educational services and enrichment activities also are availble.
