Suwanee Traffic: Work Planned on Suwanee Dam Road

The weekly road closures report from the Gwinnett Department of Transportation (June 8-14):

Added this week:

Buford

• SR20 from Peachtree Industrial Boulevard to the Chattahoochee River will require intermittent lane closures Sunday, June 9, from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. in order to perform survey work, weather permitting.
• SR20 from Peachtree Industrial Boulevard to the Chattahoochee River will require intermittent lane closures and traffic shifts through June 2016 for roadway widening and reconstruction, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Suwanee

• Suwanee Dam Road at North Gwinnett High School will require intermittent lane closures through July for queuing lane installation, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
• Suwanee Dam Road from Peachtree Industrial Boulevard to Buford Highway will require intermittent lane closures through July for multi-use path installation and roadway improvements, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Removed from the report:

Suwanee: Work on Richland Parkway from Taylor Road and Lawrenceville Suwanee Road for emergency drainage repairs has been completed.
