Suwanee Day Is Now Suwanee Fest, a 2-Day Summer Event
After 30 years, the annual event is expanding.
Suwanee Day has evolved into a two-day festival, the city announced Tuesday.
After 30 years, Suwanee Day is now Suwanee Fest, and will be held Sept. 20-21 at Town Center Park.
"For many years, we prided ourselves on the fact that Suwanee Day was one of the best and most well-attended one-day festivals around," Suwanee Events Manager Amy Doherty said in a press release. "Our popularity has caught up with us, and now we look forward to making Suwanee Fest even bigger, and especially better."

Applications are now being accepted from artists, food vendor and entertainment acts. Deadline is June 1.
