Suwanee Saver Checks Out Garage Sales

Garage sales, moving sales and estate sales are a great way to treasure hunt and spend very little money at the same time. You never know what you will find when you venture beyond the retail stores and onto the streets of Suwanee. Here are four sales for this weekend in and around Suwanee. -- Highlands at Bridgegate neighborhood garage sale on Friday and Saturday, across from Riverside Elementary School, off Johnson Road in Suwanee (south off of Suwanee Dam Road); 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Multiple homes with furniture, appliances (refrigerator, stove and microwave combo), housewares, clothing, toys, books, games, craft supplies, tons of stuff. Look for balloons!

-- 4374 Silver Peak Parkway, Suwanee; Stoneridge subdivision just off Peachtree Industrial Boulevard. July 30-31, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Moving overseas, plenty of stuff to sell from a sectional couch to a DVD and sound system, kitchen appliances, fridge, washer and dryer, a beautiful L shaped desk, etc.

-- 9250 Friarbridge Drive, Suwanee; Saturday-Sunday, 8 a.m. until ended. Lots of baby items, furniture, accessories, pictures, general household items and more.

-- 4038 Rosewood View Drive, Suwanee; Saturday, 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tons of infant and kids clothing, toys, gear. Books and videos, TV, stroller, household goods. Shoes etc.
