Where Are Suwanee Parks? Check the Patch Interactive Map

The Suwanee Patch interactive map shows the locations of major city and Gwinnett County parks.

Suwanee is perhaps best known for its parks.

Since the Open Space Referendum in 2001, the city has remade itself around a series of parks, each with a specific purpose.

Now, using Zeemaps.com, Suwanee Patch has a clickable, interactive map that shows the location and address of each major park. And the map also includes George Pierce Park, developed and run by Gwinnett County.

Suwanee's major parks are:

  • Town Center Park: The city's cultural center, which includes City Hall and an interactive fountain.
  • Sims Lake Park: A large lake and trail is included. Also, some SculpTour pieces have been put on permanent display here.
  • White Street Park: Located in Old Town Suwanee, this park includes a popular community garden, Harvest Farm.
  • PlayTown Suwanee: Built by volunteers, it's a child-oriented playground.
  • Suwanee Creek Park: This park, which is adjacent to the greenway, caters to passive recreation such as picnics.
  • George Pierce Park (Gwinnett County): This 300-acre facility has a community center, as well as football and baseball/softball fields.
Keep this article and map handy, and share it. Also, you can tell us about your park activities in the comments below.
