Atlanta TV Station Plans Live Telecast From Suwanee

11Alive will base its morning telecast in the Town Center area this summer.

An Atlanta television station plans to base its popular news/morning show from Suwanee soon.

11Alive News will telecast live from Suwanee on Friday, August 23, according to Suwanee city officials. The show runs from 4:30-7 a.m.

The telecast will originate from the Town Center area, though it still is not known exactly where, according to Denise Brinson, economic development director at City Hall.

It won't be the first venture into Gwinnett for the show. 11Alive went live from Duluth in June. Also, Fox 5 news had a brief morning spot from Suwanee's White Street Park in 2012.

Apparently, the show is still seeking local talent to fill spots in the telecast. People with suggestions should contact Brinson at City Hall.
