Fans of "Days Of Our Lives" who did not -- or could not -- get enough of their favorite show in Suwanee last spring will get another chance: Monday in Duluth.

Tour organizers and Duluth city officials announced Monday that the national tour of the NBC show's cast members will make a book signing stop at the Duluth Festival Center near the Duluth City Hall from 1-4 p.m. Monday, Aug. 15. Headshots and memorabilia are also in play.

A return appearance in the Atlanta area had been considered since March, when thousands of people from all over the Southeast turned out at Suwanee City Hall. The cast members then stayed well past the 8 p.m. cutoff, and organizers were overwhelmed.

This time, former cast members Drake Hogestyn ("John Black"), Patrick Muldoon ("Austin") and Judi Evans ("Adrienne") will appear. These people will be returning to the cast in September, tour organizers said.

“We had such an amazing turnout when we visited Suwanee this past March and felt that we left so many of our family of fans without the experience of meeting our cast, we wanted to return and try again," "Days" Executive Producer Greg Meng said in a statement.

The Suwanee crowd, estimated at more than 2,000, remains the largest on the tour, which has included roughly 10 stops, including New York, Los Angeles and Chicago.

"Days Of Our Lives" is in its 45th season as a daytime TV show, and it is the longest-running scripted drama in NBC history. The tour also is showcasing a book about the show: "Days Of Our Lives 45 Years: A Celebration In Photos."

Cast members will sign headshots, autographs, books, and memorabilia. Duluth Festival Center is located at 3142 Hill St.

Patch will have updates about this event.
