Banks & Shane Celebrate 40th Anniversary with Concert at Peachtree Point Amphitheater at Lake Lanier Islands Resort®

Calling all “Banks & Shaners!” On August 18, Atlanta’s Entertainment Tradition takes the stage at Lake Lanier Islands’ Peachtree Point Amphitheater as a memorable part of the Georgia’s Island Stage Concert Series. Having played the role of hosts of this exciting summer concert extravaganza featuring such talents as rising stars of country, Gloriana and A1A’s Official and Original Jimmy Buffett Tribute Show, Banks & Shane is primed and ready to do what they do best by entertaining the audience with their signature sound that has been 40 years in the making. Showcasing Banks & Shane classics – both old and new – the world-renowned band is expected to bring a high-energy concert to the beautifully renovated lakeside venue. Since 1972, the band mates of Banks & Shane have traveled across the grid making life-long friendships with their fans and performing unforgettable songs that take concert attendees all the way back to the Spring Breaks of their youth.

Before Banks & Shane heads off into the sunset, Lake Lanier Islands Resort® invites music lovers to join the band for an unforgettable night of folk and Americana-influenced music in celebration of an impressive 40 years of exceptional talent and musicianship! The doors of Peachtree Point Amphitheater open at 7:00 p.m. for concessions, and the music starts at 8:00 p.m. Day of ticket sales begin at 6:00 p.m. at the door.
