Eve 6 Heads for Suwanee

The rock group with Southern California roots will play Saturday at Town Center Park.

Suwanee music fans will get another live dose of a notable group Saturday (Aug. 10) when Eve 6 performs at Town Center Park. The rock trio with Southern California roots is scheduled to take the stage about 8 p.m. Admission is free.

"If Maroon 5 and Seven Mary Three had a baby, it might sound a little bit like Eve 6," one review said of the group that formed in the 1990s and revived itself after a break in 2004.

Eve 6 -- consisting of Max Collins (vocals, bass), Jon Siebels (guitar), and Tony Fagenson (drums) -- released its latest album "Speak In Code" in 2012.

One of the band's biggest hits is "Inside Out" (see attached video). Also, Collins has been working on a solo album.

The group Athens will be the opening band, performing at 7 p.m.

Limited parking is available at Town Center Park and along Main Street (take the pedestrian tunnel to Town Center), according to a city news release. Also, off-site parking and a free shuttle will be available from 6:30-10:30 p.m. at Shawnee North, 305 Shawnee North Drive at Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road.

Alcohol may not be brought into the park for this event. However, beer and wine can be purchased from concert vendors and Town Center merchants.
