Ghost of Christmases Past Revisits Suwanee in 2012

Christmas In The Park plays again this weekend.

If you want a dose of Christmas cheer, and to get a glimpse of Dickens-era characters, you'll want to head for Town Center Park in Suwanee this weekend.

Christmas In The Park returns for a fifth run on Friday and Saturday (December 7-8), 5:30-8 p.m. It is presented again by Shadowbrook Baptist Church.

According to the church website, the Christmas village will consist of 11 Christmas buildings that offer children’s activities and a children’s nativity for kids of all ages. There will be a children’s train ride, along with lights and sounds of Christmas.

Patrons also can challenge themselves at The Great Winter Race, where children and teens compete for the best time. Gift cards are awarded at the end of the evening. Refreshments also will be served.
