Gwinnett Man's Win Streak Is Over on Jeopardy!

The Buford resident still earned more than $130,000.

Andrew Moore’s winning streak on Jeopardy! came to an end Tuesday (June 25). But the contestant from Buford took home $137,803 in winnings.

In his seventh appearance on the popular TV quiz show, Moore lost to Canadian challenger Padriac Scanlan on the Final Jeopardy question.

A 28-year-old test prep instructor who now lives in Buford, Moore is originally from Snellville.

Moore said he planned to apply his winnings toward building a new home for his family and sending his children to college.

Jeopardy! airs locally at 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday on WXIA-TV (NBC).
