Saturday in Suwanee: Preakness and Painting
Arts events and a Triple Crown horse race will keep people busy.
Here's a good bet: You can find lots of entertainment outside and in front of the TV on Saturday in Suwanee.
The city is combining two art initiatives in Town Center Park: Arts In The Park, and SculpTour's debut. Admission to Arts In The Park is free.
Later in the day, thoroughbred racing takes over. Suwanee residents Dean and Patti Reeves send their prize thoroughbred, Mucho Macho Man, to run against 13 other horses in the Preakness Stakes in Baltimore.

The horse finished third in the Kentucky Derby this month, and is a 5-1 betting favorite to win the second leg of racing's Triple Crown. Television: NBC, 6 p.m.
