A short distance away on Stonecypher Road, the Everett Music Barn reopened under new ownership. The venue has hosted bluegrass performances dating to the 1960s.

The five-member Little River Band performed all their best-known songs, such as "Help Is On Its Way," "Reminiscing," and "Lonesome Loser," and others in a 90-minute gig.
