This continues a Suwanee trend of attracting notable musical artists to Town Center Park. In 2011, the Little River Band, Better Than Ezra, the Lovin' Spoonful, the Atlanta Rhythm Section and home-grown country star Andy Velo all rocked the amphitheater stage. In 2005, America was the first "name" band to perform at the city's signature park.
Vertical Horizon's latest album is 2009's "Burning The Days," according to its website. According to wikipedia, the band has begun recording material for a yet-untitled new album. Vocalist Matt Scannell is the lone original member still with the group.
Also, the band just completed its first Hawaii concert, with the Hawaii Symphony Orchestra.
