Beer Fest Returning To Suwanee

A springtime run is set for Saturday in Town Center Park.

Town Center Park in Suwanee again will become a beer connoisseur's delight Saturday, but this year, patrons probably won't feel like they are in a sauna.

The American Craft Beer Fest will be back for another run, and it has been moved to spring because of the .

The event still was well attended, and organizers are expecting about 5,000 people this year, according to a news release from Veugler Design Group, the sponsor. Veugler, based in Buford, also is associated with Suwanee Magazine.

General admission tickets are $35, $45 at the gate, with designated driver tickets $10. VIP tickets are $85, but sold out. The main event is scheduled to run 1-5 p.m. A portion of the funds will be donated to charity.

Patrons will get a small tasting glass and be able to sample beers from more than 100 breweries. There also will be a home brewing contest.

Of course, there'll be entertainment. Crimson Capitol, Asphalt Eyes and Fil Kinetic will perform, according to organizers.
