Bridal Show at Gwinnett Center on Sunday

Event promises to be a one-stop shop.

Brides- and grooms-to-be throughout metro Atlanta won’t want to miss the Georgia Bridal Show this Sunday at  in Duluth.

The largest fully interactive bridal fashion and wedding planning event of its kind in the Southeast promises a one-stop shop for anyone with upcoming nuptials or those looking to compare prices with multiple vendors in one fell swoop.

Attendees can taste test food samples from catering companies and wedding cake artisans, see wedding photography work first-hand from the photographers themselves, brainstorm ceremonial and reception-specific floral arrangements, check out the latest fashions in bridal gown design, and even make honeymoon plans among many other wedding services vetted by GBS management.

“We'll have 75 vendors from all major areas for the wedding,” said Tommy Vaughan, bridal show founder and owner of its holding company, Elite Bridal Events LLC.  “This is a great opportunity to save time and money as many of our vendors will offer specials that you can only get here at the show.”

To set the mood, show attendees will be treated to a professional DJ and live music performances throughout the day to keep the party going.

A live runway-style fashion show is scheduled for 4 p.m. A drawing for a deluxe honeymoon package will be held at 4:45 p.m.

Vaughan expects attendance to top 1,000 based on online admission ticket presales and recent attendance at other shows across the Southeast.

“It’s a great way for people from every discipline in the wedding industry to interact with brides-to-be,” said show veteran and Atlanta Bands And DJ’s owner Ted Crowder. “Even something as remote as hair and makeup people to jewelers and even Realtors, just about anything you can think of is there at the show.”

The Georgia Bridal Show runs Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. at Gwinnett Center, 6400 Sugarloaf Parkway, Duluth, 30097. Video recording devices, including cell phone cameras, are prohibited.

To purchase tickets online go to EliteEvents.com. General admission is $9. Attendees may also pay at the door. For all other customer service inquiries contact tickets@eliteevents.com or (800) 532-8917.
