Chick-fil-A To Have Fund-Raiser for Suwanee Family
Moore Road restaurant to donate some of its profits Friday.
The Chick-fil-A restaurant on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard and Moore Road will be having a special fund-raiser Friday to benefit a Suwanee family.
The community-oriented company will be donating 10 percent of its receipts at this store from 6 am-10 pm to benefit the Manis Family Memorial Fund, according to a news release.
Three years ago the four boys lost their mother to cancer; less than three weeks ago, they lost their father to a car accident; three of the four boys were in the car and suffer severe injuries. Seth, the oldest son and North Gwinnett High alumnus, was not with them at the time, the release said.
