How did Ippolito's, Golden Seven, Waffle House Fare in Health Checks?

Suwanee Restaurant Inspections: Here are the latest reports.

Ippolito's, Golden Seven and Waffle House were among the Suwanee restaurants inspected recently by the Gwinnett Health Department.

The results:

  • Ippolitos: The eatery in Town Center scored a "97/A" in an inspection on April 29. Among the violations noted: Observed stickers and glue on nonfood contact surfaces of containers. Advised PIC must have all glue and stickers removed from containers during the washing process. Corrected On-Site.  Repeat Violation. The full report is here.
  • Golden Seven: The eatery in Town Center scored "96/A" in an inspection on April 29. Among the violations noted: Tubes of single-service cups being stored on the floor in the bar area. Store all utensils at least 6 inches off of the floor.  New Violation. The full report is here.
  • Waffle House: The franchise eatery at 545 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard scored a "91/A" in an inspection on April 29. A violation noted: Observed employee crack eggs and change gloves without washing hands. PIC washed hands and changed gloves again. Advised person in charge (PIC) must wash hands after handling potentially hazardous foods and changing gloves to handle ready to eat food.  Corrected On-Site.  New Violation.
