How Would Rain Affect Suwanee Events?

Town Center Park is often busy on weekends, but what's the weather policy?

Again, Town Center Park in Suwanee is a busy place. Just this weekend, such events as Food Truck Friday/Suwanee Night of Jazz (May 3) and B at the Movies (May 4) -- featuring "Men In Black 3" -- are scheduled.

And on Saturday, the annual Suwanee Farmers Market begins its 2013 run.

extending into Sunday. Which raises the question -- what happens to those events if bad weather materializes?

Suwanee's events policy is that all events are "rain or shine." However, severe weather such as thunderstorms could delay an event, for safety reasons. In 2011, high winds forced cancellation of a hot-air balloon event in the Gateway areas, because of the hazard it would've presented to the balloonists.

Also, some vendors for the farmers market simply won't show in the event of inclement weather.
