New Opening Date for Friends Suwanee Grill
The restaurant will be in a site near Suwanee Town Center.

The original opening date for Friends Suwanee Grill did not come off, so prepare for a new target date.
The restaurant near Town Center now is eyeing an April 15 debut, according to owner Ray Stanjevich. April 8 was the originally scheduled opening; however, the restaurant still had some regulatory hurdles to clear before that date.

That will mean two Suwanee restaurants will be opening in that time period. Uptown Grille has said it plans to roll out on April 15.
Friends, which will be in a strip mall at 3890 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road, will be fashioned like a neighborhood gathering place, according to owner Ray Stanjevich. Uptown Grille, which will be in the former Olde Towne suite, will have an upscale touch, a la the Cheesecake Factory.
