Sittin' In at the Suwanee Farmers Market

The annual event has its first Saturday session -- with seating areas.

It's a ritual that has a new touch for 2012.

The Pierce family -- with dog Little Bit in tow -- heads for the Suwanee Farmers Market at Town Center Park on Saturday, shops and then heads for Dillard's nearby for breakfast.

The market opened this week and is having its first Saturday session from 8 a.m. to noon. This year, city officials added seating areas near the vendor spaces.

Several familiar vendors, such as Okie Dokie Farm and May Tree Farm, also were on hand for the patrons.
