Suwanee May 'Toast' Gets Musical

Monthly event resumes Thursday with a concert.

Suwanee's monthly Toast @ Town Center event resumes Thursday, May 26, with a holiday touch.

Appropriately for a holiday weekend, the May theme will be "School's (Almost) Out for Summer." The block party-style festivities will take place at Town Center Park, 6-10 p.m. Traffic through the park will be blocked off, and patrons can visit the various shops for special deals on meals and merchandise. They also may take drinks, including alcoholic beverages, from shop to shop and within the park.

Also, a musical concert will take place, sponsored by Gwinnett Church. The band A-Town A-List will perform pop hits from the past 60 years, with CCR and the Black Eyed Peas among the mix.
