'Taste Of Buford' Coming in September

Benefit for Hi-Hope set for Sept. 29 at GEHC.

More than 350 people are expected to attend the annual “Taste of Buford” to benefit the Hi-Hope Service Center.

The event is planned for Thursday, Sept. 29 from 6-9 p.m. at the Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center, 2020 Clearwater Drive in Buford. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Hi-Hope Service Center, a facility offering support for adults with developmental disabilities.

The “Taste of Buford” will feature food from restaurants including Buckhead Pizza, Cabo’s Mexican Grill, Chick-fil-A, Lee’s Golden Buddah and Momoya, Green’s Tavern, Longhorn Steakhouse, Mimi’s Café, Ted’s Montana Grill, On the Border and Genghis Grill.  The Beverage Superstore II is donating a variety of beer through Eagle Rock Distributing and wine from Barefoot Wineries.
