Taste of Suwanee Is More Than Food

The annual festival is Saturday at Town Center Park.

On Saturday, Suwanee Town Center Park will be home to over 30 vendors who will gather to tempt and tantalize your palate. The Taste of Suwanee is an annual tradition that offers good food, kids activities, and entertainment.

The Taste of Suwanee is a great way to sample several area restaurants all in one day. Tickets are purchased for each tasting. Tastings can cost between one and six tickets and each ticket is typically 50 cents. The tastings can be a sample of an appetizer, entree, or dessert.

Previous years have included businesses such as Cooley's Pizza, Brown Bag Deli, and Rita's.

The event is truly an international one, with anything from Italian food from , Indian Fare from The Cloves, and good ol' Southern good from barbecue joints like Jim 'N Nick's.

For the non-foodie family members, there are plenty of kids activities such as bounce houses and train rides. DISH TV broadcasts the sporting events so no one has to miss their favorite teams playing.
