The Tutoring Center in Sugar Hill has part-time opportunities available to tutor students from 5-16 in several subjects, according to the center.
Job Description: Tutor students of ages 5-16 in Reading, Writing, Elementary Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2 and Geometry. Head Instructor will additionally be responsible for managing classrooms, marketing activities, etc. and be able to give at least a 1-plus year commitment.
Qualifications: Candidates must be well-rounded individuals capable of working with children who need help in Reading, Writing, Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, and Geometry. Applicants must be energetic, have a positive attitude, enjoy working with children in a fun atmosphere, have strong communication skills, must provide exceptional service and work as a team with other staff.

Additional Requirements:
- Head Instructors: Must have a college degree, available Monday-Friday from 2.30-7.30 pm.
- Instructors: Must have a college degree, strong in all subjects, including Math, and be minimally available Monday-Thursday from 3.30-7.30 pm.
- Assistant Instructors: Currently enrolled in college, with a 3.0+ GPA, and be minimally available Monday-Thursday from 3.30 - 7.30 pm.
- Interns: High School students with 3.5+ GPA, top 5 percent of their class, and be minimally available Monday-Thursday from 3.30 - 7.30 pm.
