Wedding Chapel Close to Completion Near Suwanee

Ashton Gardens expects to hold its first wedding in March.

That high-end wedding facility near Suwanee is nearing completion, and it plans to hold ceremonies there as soon as March.

Ashton Gardens, which also has facilities in Houston and Dallas, began construction at the site on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard in Sugar Hill in spring 2012. It's near West Price Road and North Gwinnett Middle School.

According to the website, "Our experienced event coordinators will assist in the planning of every detail of your ceremony & wedding reception & our award-winning culinary team makes every one of our original recipes from scratch using only the highest quality and freshest products available."

And Ashton Gardens already is conducting "hard-hat tours" of the still-unfinished site to couples who are planning nuptials there.

Price? The website quotes no figures. But a post on answers.com puts the figure at $5,000-$10,000. "(A) really classy and expensive place like this doesn't want to talk prices until they have you at the table," the posting read.

However, the website says discounts, including free chapel rental, are being offered.
