What Next for Prime Suwanee Restaurant Space?

Whatever doubt there may have been has been removed -- the Uptown Grille is now officially out of business in Suwanee.
"Closed," reads a sign taped to the entry door of the Uptown Grille in Town Center (as of Monday, Dec. 23). A week ago, the restaurant did not open for an evening shift, though no official announcement about the fate was forthcoming at that time.
Uptown Grille opened in April, and said it would offer an upscale menu, similar to that of the Cheesecake Factory.
However, this is the second straight Christmas season that the space in Town Center with the open-air bar area has been vacant. Previously, Olde Town Tavern & Grille closed in December 2012 in a bankruptcy proceeding.
