What's the Situation With Uptown Grille in Suwanee?
The restaurant in Town Center did not open Tuesday evening.
The future of the Uptown Grille in Suwanee appears to be unclear.
The restaurant in Suwanee Town Center did not open in the evening Tuesday (Dec. 17). And the person who answered the phone about 5 p.m. did not give a clear answer as to whether the business is still operating.
Uptown Grille has not posted to its Facebook site since October.
The restaurant in the familiar location near City Hall opened in April. It said at that time that it planned to offer an upscale menu, patterned after the Cheesecake Factory.
The same retail space, which features an open-air bar overlooking Town Center Park, became vacant in December 2012, when Olde Towne Tavern & Grille closed in a bankruptcy proceeding.
