WSB Back in Charter Cable TV Lineup

The cable company had dropped the station shortly after midnight Jan. 1 when their contract lapsed.

WSB's absence from the Charter cable television lineup lasted less than one day.

Charter viewers were able to watch part of the Capital One Bowl game between South Carolina and Wisconsin on New Year's Day, which began at 1 p.m. Eastern time on ABC. That telecast was followed by a WSB news telecast at 4:30 p.m.

Charter had dropped WSB from its lineup shortly after midnight Jan. 1, because the retransmission consent contract between Charter and WSB had expired.

No announcement was evident on the WSB website, and Charter officials could not be reached for comment.
