The Importance of Campaign Networking

In this day and age of social media and changes in the way we communicate it is important to involve as many people as possible in a political campaign. No one likes Robocalls, Campaign mailers get tossed without much impact, emails go unopened, and texting is taboo. So how do you get your name out before the voters? That is the challenge of any candidate seeking elective office. This is especially true when running against an Incumbent.

My campaign website just added a new feature that displays the Voting District on the Home page. To find the map scroll down to the section About House District 97 on the homepage. The map will help you determine whether you live in House District 97 and can vote in my primary race. Perhaps you will use the map to identify friends that might live in the district, so that you can encourage them to vote. Now you know why we went to the trouble to create the map.

I have worked on many campaigns and the startling conclusion I have drawn is that for the most part, voters are oblivious to the issues that drive a campaign. Often they do not get involved until weeks before the election.

Maybe now is a good time to challenge the "Status Quo" and bring some new energy to solving the myriad of problems that face our Community, State and Nation. I have a positive vision to share.

Now that there is a general mistrust of all government and elected officials it is very important to communicate about the issues. I hope you will continue to look to my blog, webpage and Facebook to become familiar with the issues. Then I hope you will encourage others to become aware of my campaign. This is where your relationships with others can make a difference. Referral is the best tool for a campaign.

Voting is a sacred duty of Citizenship. It is only way we can have our voices heard in the Halls of the Capitol.

So if you are reading this post I encourage you to become an educated voter and learn about the issues.

If you would like to get involved in the campaign then go to the Contact page send me an email about becoming a volunteer.
