'The Returned' TV Crew Prepares Norcross Home for Filming - Norcross Patch

FTP Productions plans to film the ABC pilot for a supernatural drama called "The Returned" in Norcross this week. Most filming will take place at the Pafford home at 566 N. Peachtree St., but the production also plans to capture downtown businesses, street traffic and some neighbors surrounding the home.

Lip-Biting Suspect Surrenders to Police - Midtown Patch

After seeing his face reported through news outlets, the suspect, Carl Winston, walked into an Atlanta police station on Saturday and turned himself in. He is now at the Fulton County jail and charged with aggravated battery.

Winston is accused of pinning a waiter down outside a restaurant and biting his lip.

Group Formed to Combat Prostitution - Midtown Patch

Recognizing the need for a holistic approach to combat street-level prostitution, the City of Atlanta has convened a Working Group to Reduce Prostitution to collaborate with key stakeholders and bring back recommendations to the Administration and City Council.

The current “Stay Out of Areas of Prostitution” legislation will be held until the Working Group is ready to report back with new or amended legislation.

Acworth Teen Accused of Posting Nude Photos to Porn Sites - Acworth Patch

Authorities are investigating an Acworth teen who allegedly posted naked photos of at least eight children on pornographic websites, according to a Cobb County criminal warrant.

Michael William Cook of Acworth was arrested around 2 p.m. Wednesday at Harrison High School, where he is a senior, according to online jail records.
