Production Company to Film TV Pilot in Norcross - Norcross Patch

In a special called meeting Monday, the Norcross City Council approved the permit application for a production company to film a TV show pilot in the downtown area.

FTP Productions plans to film the ABC pilot for a supernatural drama called "The Returned" from Wednesday, March 13, to Friday, March 15. Most filming will take place at the Pafford home at 566 N. Peachtree St., but the production also plans to capture downtown businesses, street traffic and some neighbors surrounding the home.

Cloud 9 Owner: 'Cupcake Wars' Was High Anxiety Fun - Sandy Springs Patch

Mike Pettenato compares his appearance on “Cupcake Wars” to “The Hunger Games,” but it was still a dream come true, he said. 

“It’s really exciting,” said Pettenato, co-owner of Cloud 9 Cupcakes. “When we got into cupcakes three years ago, my dream was to be on the show.”

Customers always encouraged him to apply too, he said. 

On Sunday night, Pettenato gathered with about 50 friends and family members at Firebird sports bar in Dunwoody, to view his appearance on the Food Network show.

Infosys to Add 200 Jobs in Cobb - Marietta Patch

An Indian firm that specializes in information technology consulting is expanding its work force in Cobb County.

At the March 4 First Monday breakfast of the Cobb Chamber of Commerce, Infosys BPO Ltd. formally announced it would be adding 200 jobs to its current operations located in Cobb.

Infosys, based in Bangalore India, employs between 60-100 people at the Wildwood corporate complex.
