Husband Robert Wagner was with Wood on their yacht, and actor Christopher Walken also was aboard. Neither saw what happened, but it is believed that Wood somehow slipped overboard while untying a dinghy attached to the boat. The investigation recently was reopened after the yacht's captain approached law enforcement, saying he lied about details of the night of Wood's death. (Source: history.com).
