Former UGA Coach Dooley to Sign Books in Gwinnett

Dooley will also autograph memorabilia at Kroger in Duluth on December 20.

Former University of Georgia head football coach and athletic director Vince Dooley will sign copies of his books and collegiate memorabilia from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, at the Duluth Kroger at 3093 Steve Reynolds Blvd.

Dooley coached the UGA football team for 25 years (1964-88) and led the Bulldogs to 201 victories, including the 1980 National Championship. Also, he was athletic director from 1979-2004.

The legendary coach has published more than nine books focused on his life, the South and football, including “How ‘Bout Them Dawgs,” “Dooley: My 40 Years at Georgia,” “Hairy Dawg’s Journey Through the Peach State,” and “Vince Dooley’s Garden: A Horticultural Journey of a Football Coach.”
